Appearance: Minato comes to just under six feet tall, and just about one-hundred and fifty pounds in weight. He is rather well-built and strapping, from years of work and training as a shinobi for his village, Konohagure. He has been in good shape for as long as he can recall, and it's something that is unlikely to change. Minato's hair is a vibrant blonde, and a little messy and shaggy. His eyes are the same shade of blue as both his wife and son's, though said wife would more than likely argue that hers are much brighter. His attire consists of the usual jounin ninja outfit [navy pants and shirt, green pocketed vest, navy sandals, wrapped ankles, and pouches for kunai/scrolls/etc], and a long white jacket/cape with a red flame pattern along the bottom. He also wears his Konoha headband in the typical manner, around his forehead.

Personality: Minato is known for his calm attitude, but also for his cheery personality. He is serious and focused when he needs to be [in a battle or teaching his team], and he is respected for being able to do so, even while being as calm and easy-going as he is. He is incredibly respectful of those around him, particularly his superiors, and he has great belief and faith in those who are important to them. He would be willing to trust them with his life, or the life of his family. Minato was often regarded as a genius, for his incredible skills and ability to sucseed, but he is not the type to flaunt of gloat about it. He has a great desire to succeed in everything he puts his mind to, and is very willing to work hard to get it. He is committed to hard work, and believes strongly in it. He believes that it is what has gotten him as far as he's come in his lifetime. Even despite all of these kinder noble aspects, Minato is a foe fervently feared by his enemies, and he is willing to kill in cold blood, if he needs to. He has the heart of a soldier when engaged in battle, and he does not hesitate. During the war, other shinobi were often given warnings to 'flee upon sight' when it came to battling with him.

Abilities: Minato was the fourth Hokage of Konohagure, and therefore his abilities are amazing. He is the youngest Hokage to date. He is regarded as a genius, and graduated from the academy at ten years of age. He is also the only person known to be able to fully control Gamabunta, of the Toad Summoning Technique. Not even his teacher, who showed him the technique, could accomplish this. He created several techniques of his own, such as the Rasengan, and the Flying Thunder God Technique. However, though he was incredibly strong and revered in his world, this.. hasn't quite carried over to the world of daisychain. Minato still possesses his amazingly honed reflexes and instincts, as well as a decent bit of speed and strength, but his use of chakra and techniques has been significantly depleted. He would be lucky to manage to use more than one or two techniques in the run of a day, and even that would be pushing it, exhausting his body almost completely. He is a decent shot with weapons, but is used to relying upon techniques, so losing them is quite problematic to him.

Weaknesses: One of Minato's biggest weaknesses would be his responsibility to his village, and to his family. As the leader of the village, he feels responsible for all of it's inhabitants, and would be willing to risk loss of life and limb to protect them and their home. The same goes for his family, Kushina and Naruto. When it comes to protecting these things, and anything he cares deeply for, he becomes head-strong and willing to rush in recklessly to protect as he sees fit. He does not believe in the backing down in the face of immediate danger, as bravery is one of his better qualities, but he knows how to take it slow, and use caution when needed [such as this new and unusual world he finds himself in]. Something he wishes his wife had. In the world of Daisychain, his techniques are also a bit of a weakness for him, since using them causes severe drain on his body, and he usually relies heavily upon them.

History: Minato Namikaze was an incredibly talented and powerful ninja, who was born in the hidden leaf village, Konohagure. When he was ten years old, he graduated slightly early from the shinobi academy, and joined the team under the command of Jiraiya. As he grew, he developed his skills, and began to create his own techniques, and mastered techniques that even his superiors couldn't handle. The older Minato became, the more advanced his skills seemed to become. When he reached the rank of Jounin, he got control of his own team of students, which consisted of Kakashi Hataku, Rin, and Obito Uchiha. This was around the same time as the Third Great Ninja War, during which Minato earned the title of 'Konoha's Yellow Flash', for his amazing skills, and the 'flee-upon-sight' warning that came with them.
Somewhere between the training of his team [and the death of Obito Uchiha during a mission], and the end of the war, Minato was chosen by the Third Hokage to become Yondaime Hokage, the Fourth. He was in fact the second choice, but he didn't seem to mind. Neither did the village, all of whom loved the devotion and loyalty that Minato showed, inspiring others greatly. He was very well-liked, and well respected. Somewhere during between his Jounin rank, and his stay as Hokage, Minato started a relationship with Kushina Uzumaki, of the Land of Whirlpool. They were later married, and Kushina became pregnant with their first child, a boy. They chose to name him Naruto, after the character in Jiraiya's novel, whom they wanted their son to grow up to be like; strong and determined.

However, Minato's happiness as Hokage and soon-to-be father did not last. On the eve that Kushina was giving birth to their son, just moment's after, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha village. There was great destruction and death in wake of the attack, and Minato rushed into battle, which he summoned and used Gamabunta to try and defend against the demon. When he realized that he only had one choice to save his village, and his family, Minato decided to take the ultimate sacrifice. He used the technique of the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, and he sealed the demon fox inside of his newborn son, Naruto, in exchange for his own life. Minato wanted Naruto to be viewed as a hero, and it was never his intention for his son to be viewed as a monster container by the villagers, though very few of the villagers honored their Hokage's dying wish. Since Minato never chose his successor, the Third Hokage returned to rule after his death.

However, that is a little ahead of where Minato's history currently resides.

Just after performing the technique to seal the demon inside of Naruto, Minato Namikaze died. Or, so he assumed he had died. One moment he was performing the technique, blacking out in the flames of the battle, and then the next moment he was awake again. Without the flames, and without the battle. And certainly not in Konoha. Instead, Minato discovered himself to be laying in the middle of what looked like a giant concrete jungle, flat on his back and freezing cold against the ground. With a groan, he managed to rise himself to his feet, and only had two moments to consider taking extreme caution, before hearing the loud and obnoxious [familiar] shouting of his wife close by.

And that is where his story begins.
